Patient registry; synonym: Registry

Organised system that collects uniform data (clinical and other) to identify specified outcomes for a population defined by a particular disease, condition or exposure (see CHMP Guideline on Registrybased Studies, 21 October 2021).

Patients may be defined e.g. by a certain disease, pregnancy or breastfeeding status, or another condition such as a birth defect or a molecular or genomic feature (see CHMP Guideline on Registry-based Studies, 21 October 2021).
